Springfield-Greene County Library District Hosts Legislative Discussion December 2

The Springfield-Greene County Library District will host “Local Voices, Local Decisions: A Legislative Discussion from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, in the Library Center Hatch Auditorium, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
The free event will feature an interactive panel discussion with local legislators, policy experts and community leaders as they address key issues impacting our community. Greene County residents will learn about upcoming legislation and hear viewpoints on education, infrastructure, public safety and the environment. Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce President Matt Morrow will moderate the session featuring the following legislators: Senator Lincoln Hough, District 135 Representative Betsy Fogle, District 136 Representative Stephanie Hein, District 132 Representative Jeremy Dean and District 133 Representative Melanie Stinnett. Attendees are asked to bring questions for a Q&A after the discussion.
This event will also showcase the new Hatch Auditorium at the Library Center, a 500-seat addition recently constructed for public and private use. The grand opening weekend is scheduled for Jan. 16-18.
