The Library Foundation Announces Board Officers and New Members

The Springfield-Greene County Library Foundation recently elected new board officers to serve for the 2026-2027 term.
· Board President - Laurie Edmondson. Distinguished Professor of Education at Drury University
· Vice President - Leia Huffman CFP®, CTFA, Director, Forvis Mazars Private Client
· Secretary - Denise Baumann, Director of Operations, Good Dads
· Treasurer – Andrea McKinney, Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor, Central Trust Company
The Board also added new board members Marjorie Shavers, Interim Dean of the College of Education at Missouri State University, and Danny Perches, Business Consultant with Olsson, Inc.
The Springfield-Greene County Library Foundation’s mission is to strengthen the Springfield-Greene County Library District, which operates 10 branches and other services across Greene County. The Foundation’s Board of Directors fulfills that mission through the cultivation, growth, and thoughtful stewardship of charitable contributions, planned gifts, and grant funds. Founded in 1993, it is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
