Springfield-Greene County Library District Announces Associate Director of Public Services

The Springfield-Greene County Library District is excited to announce that Katy Pattison has been selected as the new Associate Director of Public Services. Katy brings nearly two decades of progressively responsible library management experience and a deep commitment to exceptional public service, staff development, and innovative, mission-driven library services. Since 2019, she has served as Branch Manager at the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library. Before joining the Springfield-Greene County Library District, Katy served as Deputy Director at the Christian County Library.

Pattison holds a master’s in library and information science from the University of Missouri and a B.A. in English from Drury University. Executive Director Ed Walton added, “We are excited about the leadership, energy, and perspective Katy will bring to this role and to our organization. What stands out most about Katy’s career is her ability to connect people, ideas, and organizational goals—and then turn those connections into meaningful action. Her experience developing staff, strengthening partnerships, using data to inform decisions, and creating responsive public services will be a tremendous asset in this new role.”
