Library District Releases 2024-2025 Annual Report

Executive Director Ed Walton opens the report with, “At the Springfield-Greene County Library District, every story, smile, and shared space reminds us that our libraries are where information, imagination, and community come together.”

The report highlights the library’s work from July 2024 – June 2025, including year-end financials, building project reports, information on the Library Foundation and so much more. Throughout the report, you can read about moments of connection with patrons. To highlight a few impressive numbers

·         Active Cardholders: 103,464

·         New Cardholders: 12,695

·         Storytimes: 2,318

·         Physical Circulation: 1,905,024

·         Digital Circulation: 810,987

·         Walking Books Deliveries: 20,913

·         Items Added to Collection: 74,305
