Library District Announces New Board Members and Officers

The Springfield-Greene County Library Board of Trustees has announced the slate of officers for 2026-2027.
· Christopher Bozarth - President
· James Nevins – Vice President
· Mar’Ellen Felin – Treasurer and Chair of the Finance and Personnel Committee
· Carol Anne Robinette - Secretary
Joining the board as new Greene County representatives are Esther Owen, Chair of the Programs, Services and Technology Committee, and Robert Guiler, Chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee. Pamela Hernandez will serve as the new Springfield City representative. David Yancey and Aaron Jones will continue as trustees.
The Library Board has nine members who serve no more than two three-year staggered terms. Five members are appointed by the Mayor of Springfield to represent the city, and four are appointed by the Greene County Commission to represent the county.
