CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY

The Library has an ethical obligation, expressed in the ALA Code of Ethics, to preserve users' right to privacy and confidentiality with respect to information sought or received and resources consulted, borrowed, acquired or transmitted. Patron records and security footage may be released to assist law enforcement agencies in accordance with applicable state and federal laws upon receipt of a subpoena. The requirement of a subpoena may, however, be waived by the director or authorized employees when appropriate.
