Emmy-nominated host, writer and producer Jeff Belanger brings spooky back to the yuletide time of year with this eerie holiday show. From its origins to the ghosts that lurk in its shadows, experience a multi-media journey of this haunting holiday! Based on his PBS Special, "Creepy Christmas," and best-selling book, "The Fright Before Christmas," this night may save the holidays from ruin! This program is NOT for young children. Oh, the Horror! Presents: Ghost Stories for Christmas with Matt Godfrey
Tuesday, December 17, 7 p.m. for ages 18 and older in the Library Center auditorium. Join award-winning voice actor and audiobook narrator Matt Godfrey around the glow of the proverbial fireplace and take part in the Victorian tradition of sharing ghost stories at Christmastime, when some believed the veil between the living and spirit world was thinnest. Settle in with tea, cocoa and treats from Tea Bar & Bites as Godfrey performs two chilling modern ghost stories to keep this tradition alive.
