Tea Party

Tell Stories

Create stories, play make-believe and let your child be a storyteller.

PLAY

Tea Party

Host a real (or pretend) tea party at the kitchen table! Ask your child to invite his or her dolls and set up the table for a "fancy" event. Encourage your child to develop the details and storyline of the party: who is coming? What should we wear? What foods will we have? Then dress up and pretend! This is a fun way for your child's imagination to soar.

SING

I'm a Little Teapot

I'm a little tea pot, short and stout.
Here is my handle, here is my spout. (place one hand on your hip and the other sticking out from your body like a spout)
When I get all steamed up, hear me shout.
Tip me over and pour me out! (lean to the side to pour the tea)
