PLAY
New Versions of Classic Songs
While it's true that singing the same songs and rhymes is great for your children, sometimes we need something a little different. Fortunately, there are lots of adaptations of familiar songs! Creative authors have adapted traditional songs and rhymes to reflect different cultures and sometimes just for fun. Go to the Library to discover some retellings and then see if you can create your own!

Old MacDonald
Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O.
And on that farm he had a cow, E-I-E-I-O.
With a moo, moo here and a moo, moo there,
Here a moo, there a moo, everywhere a moo, moo.
Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O.
