Food Fright Night!: Get your chills and thrills culinary-style as you dress up in your favorite Halloween costume and learn to prepare (and eat) candy sushi. There'll be a prize awarded for best costume. Participants may not leave before 6:30 p.m. unless a parent or guardian picks them up. This program is a Sample the Culinary Arts-related event. 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Willard Branch Library. Call 742-4258. |

Things You Shouldn't Do With Books. It's the library like you've never seen it before! Make an altered book, guess the shredded book and make art from the pages of picture books. The Library is open for Xbox games, music, crafts, prizes and free Internet access. Participants may not leave before 10:30 p.m. unless a parent or guardian picks them up. 9:00 pm at the Library Center. Call 882-0714. |

I Was A Teenage Politician!: With all the adults voting in the general election, you may be feeling left out of the political process. Come to Teen Night and create your own political party, run for office and vote for the first-ever Teen Night President. The winner gets to pick the theme for a spring Teen Night After Hours. Come in costume or decorate yourself here, just be prepared to beat the competition at Guitar Hero and karaoke.
