We Need Your Help!

The proposed federal budget will zero out funding for The Institute of Museum & Library Service (IMLS) and its grant program, The Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). The following list identifies just some of the resources that have been funded by these grants for the patrons of the Springfield-Greene County Library District:

  • Computers for public use
  • Small business resources
  • Computer classes for job skills training

  • Summer reading outreach for children and teens
  • Nonfiction materials for improving life skills
  • Video lab for businesses, nonprofits, students
