Coming from the east on Interstate 44, exit at U.S. 65 (Branson exit) south and continue past the Kearney and Division exits.

Exit west on Chestnut Expressway. Continue on Chestnut Expressway past the Glenstone and National intersections. At the Benton Avenue light turn right. Turn left at the next intersection, Central Street. Proceed through the intersection at Central and Jefferson (Jefferson is one-way going south). The Midtown Carnegie Branch is a large limestone building with a Spanish red tile roof on the northwest corner of Central and Jefferson. The entrance to the parking lot is on the west side of the building.

Coming from the south on U.S. 65, Continue past the exits at U.S. 60, Battlefield and Sunshine. Exit west on to Chestnut Expressway and continue as above.

Coming from the south on U.S. 160. Once in Springfield, U.S. 160 becomes Campbell Street. Continue north on Campbell through the major intersections of Battlefield and Sunshine. At the intersection of Campbell and Grand, Campbell becomes one-way going north. Continue north on Campbell, through the major intersection at Chestnut Expressway. Take a right on Central Street and continue through the intersection of Boonville and Central. The Midtown Carnegie Branch will be on the left, just past the Greene County Courthouse and City Utilities. The entrance to the parking lot is on the west side of the Library building.

Coming from the west on Interstate 44, exit at Kansas Expressway and continue south until Chestnut Expressway. Turn left onto Chestnut and continue until Campbell Street. Turn left and continue as above.

Coming from the north on Hwy 13, continue past Interstate 44 and continue as above as Hwy 13 becomes Kansas Expressway.
